Get To Know Us
Among a field of dandelions, a fairy house tree trunk and secret gardens lies a 1926 Tudor home, affectionately named Marguerite. Dandelion children have space to run barefoot, roll down the hill and make mud potions on the almost quarter-acre property that surrounds the 99 year old cottage.
Inside, the entire basement of the home is full of warm natural light. It includes a cubby mudroom, cozy library den, bathroom, crafting space and welcoming playroom.
Preschool hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm.
This allows ample time for your little one to foster their imagination during open free play, dive into their daily handwork, and become an adventurous explorer outside. We enjoy family-provided morning snacks and afternoon lunches together; a wonderful time to share stories, songs and giggles.

Dandelion Rhythm
Throughout the year, preschoolers will enjoy many life-skills, including: weekly baking, watercolor painting, felt sewing, embroidery, gardening, imaginary play, music, dance and seasonal celebrations. This style of handwork, along with circle time, free-play and an hour of daily outdoor time allows continued practice of cooperation, generosity and gratitude.
The Den Vision
The rhythm of Dandelion’s Den is designed to cultivate a nurturing and imaginative learning environment where every child thrives through creativity, exploration, and meaningful connections. I hope to foster a deep sense of wonder and respect for the world, guiding each child to grow into a confident, compassionate, and capable individual.
